The FN045-VDW.4F.A7P1 axial fan from Ziehl-Abegg is a high-performance industrial fan for applications in refrigeration, air-conditioning and ventilation technology. The unit is fitted with curved aluminium blades and offers high efficiency whilst maintaining a low noise level.

The fan is driven by a robust three-phase induction motor (3~400 V, 50 Hz) and features a 4-pole design. This results in a rated speed of approx. 1350 min^-1 in Δ operation and approx. 1020 min^-1 in Y operation.

Design and features

The fan is designed as a pressure-type unit, with the airflow directed from the motor towards the impeller. The impeller and blades are made of aluminium and are designed for long-lasting, low-maintenance operation. The motor mounting is powder-coated (RAL 9005) and offers high corrosion resistance.

The integrated Δ/Y switch enables operation at two speeds, allowing the fan to be flexibly adapted to different operating conditions.
