An electronic flow monitor monitors the flow rate, detects if it falls below or exceeds a predefined limit value, forwards this as a fault message and blocks the line. The flow monitor consists of a cylindrical measuring probe with two temperature sensors, which have an optimal heat-conducting contact to the medium and at the same time a good thermal insulation to each other.
