Find an installer for installation
and commissioning
You have bought a unit or are planning to, and you are looking for someone to install and commission it properly. We are a specialist distributor of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump equipment. We do not carry out installations ourselves and do not arrange installation jobs – but we would like to help you as much as we can with your search.
On this page you will find proven search routes, a checklist for your first conversation and an assistant that writes your request for you. Please understand that we cannot say how many installers are available in your area, nor whether a particular company will install equipment bought online – that is for each company to decide.
How to find a suitable installer near you
The following directories and platforms are independent of us. Tell us briefly what you need and where you are – we will sort the relevant search routes and prepare the search terms for you.
Alternatively, search Google Maps for a suitable installer in your area – with reviews, opening hours and phone numbers. Choose the search term that matches your project:
Without a location, Google will usually use your current location. Tip: if you cannot find anyone within 20 km, widen the search to the nearest larger town – many companies travel 50 km or more.
Many manufacturers of air conditioners, heat pumps and refrigeration equipment offer a search for trained installation partners on their country website. The national trade association for refrigeration and air conditioning or your regional chamber of trades can also name member companies.
- Search for “[manufacturer] installer” plus your country.
- Ask the association for companies certified under the F-gas Regulation.
These directories are independent of us; we cannot comment on individual companies.
Some companies only install units they have supplied themselves.
Please ask the installer about the following points before you buy or place the order. Tick off what has already been clarified – your progress is saved in this browser.
Your request in one text – ready to send
The more precise your request, the more reliable the quote. Fill in what you know – everything is optional. Missing details appear in the text as “to be confirmed”, so the installer can ask specific questions rather than turning you down.
The text is created entirely in your browser – none of it is sent to us. Paste it into the installer's contact form, an email or a job listing on a trades platform, and attach photos of the installation site.
These details will speed up your request
Have this information ready when you contact an installer. All of it feeds into the request assistant above.
How to recognise a qualified company
Under the EU F-gas Regulation, work on the refrigerant circuit requires proof of qualification. You can ask about the following points without any technical knowledge – a reputable company will answer them without hesitation.
Anyone who opens, evacuates or charges refrigerant circuits or recovers refrigerant needs a personal certificate. There are four categories; Category I covers all activities with no limit on the refrigerant charge. In addition, the company itself must be certified.
- Ask about the category and the company certificate.
- In Germany, certificates issued under the previous regulation remain valid until 12 March 2029; please check the transitional rules in your own country.
Registration in the relevant trade register and membership of a trade association are good indicators – association directories list member companies only.
Many manufacturers only grant extended warranties if installation and commissioning are carried out and documented by a trained partner company. Ask the manufacturer about its installer search for your region and compare the results with your shortlist.
Ask for the commissioning report and keep it safe. Above certain refrigerant charges, regular leak checks and a system logbook are also required – clarify straight away whether the company will take on maintenance.
The information on this page is general guidance given to the best of our knowledge and does not replace legal advice. The regulations in force and the information provided by the manufacturer and the installing company are authoritative.
Questions from end customers
Selection, hiring, scheduling and invoicing take place exclusively and directly between you and the installer concerned.
We cannot comment on the availability, pricing, qualifications or quality of work of external companies, and we do not broker, commission or coordinate installation work. The directories and platforms mentioned are independent third-party services; we accept no liability for their content.
Questions about the unit rather than the installation?
We are happy to advise you on the selection, technology and availability of our products. For on-site installation, please contact an installer found via the search routes above.
