Antifrogen N is a versatile and tried-and-tested heat or cold transfer fluid, ideal for the food industry. This heat exchanger antifreeze can withstand temperatures from -35 °C to +150 °C and is used in hot water heating systems, heat pump media, heat recovery systems, cooling systems and leak detection fluids.

With its pale yellow colour and excellent biodegradability, Antifrogen N is the preferred antifreeze for numerous applications. Its excellent thermal properties across a wide temperature range allow for a wide variety of applications. Technical details Density at 20°C: approx. 1.14 g/cm³ Refractive index nD at 20°C: approx. 1.436 pH value (at 33% Antifrogen N): 7.5–8.5 Boiling point at 1013 mbar: approx. 170°C Freezing point: approx. –70°C Advantages and benefits Antifrogen N provides triple protection against frost, rust and deposits. With its highly effective inhibitor package, it protects metal system components from corrosion and enables a service life of 10 to 20 years. This antifreeze is based on ethylene glycol and is ideally suited to various applications in refrigeration, air-conditioning and ventilation systems, as well as in heat pump and hot-water heating systems. A minimum concentration of 20% by volume in water ensures frost resistance down to -10°C. If necessary, the concentration can be increased to further improve frost protection. Antifrogen N should always be diluted with water as appropriate before use to ensure optimum performance.
