• The BFS-TESTGAS is suitable for functional testing of mobile electronic leak detectors.
• This test gas can be used to test the function of leak detectors for the detection of fluorinated refrigerants, flammable refrigerants, CO2 (R744) and forming gas.
• The equivalent leak rate is approx. 5 g/a or approx. 100 g/a for CO2.
• The test should be carried out in ambient air, especially for CO2, to rule out measurement errors caused by test gas-contaminated atmospheres.
• According to Regulation (EC) 1516/2007 and DIN EN 14624, a test must be carried out at least once a year in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
• To ensure the function and resilience of the leak test carried out, it is recommended that the leak detector is checked before each use.
