Bristol Compressors International, Inc., founded in 1974 in Bristol, Virginia, USA, was a respected manufacturer of fully hermetic scroll and reciprocating compressors. For decades, the company was renowned for producing energy-efficient and reliable compressors for refrigeration and air conditioning technology, which were used in a wide range of systems worldwide.

Bristol produced millions of compressors annually across a wide range of capacities and supplied customers on six continents. Manufacturing took place at the main plant in Virginia, which also housed modern production facilities, a research and development department and logistics facilities. The compressors were specially developed for refrigerants such as R22, R407C, R134a and R404A and offered high mechanical strength, quiet operation and a long service life.

Unfortunately, production at Bristol Compressors has ceased, meaning that no new compressors are being manufactured. Despite the cessation of operations, spare parts and existing products remain available on the market and are valued for their proven quality and reliability.
