The high-quality speed controller with manual setting from the Eliwell brand, type WM 253 (VM253710), is suitable for single-phase motors in blower applications. The electronic device for speed control has a triac output for load control up to max. 2.5 A.
The speed of the motor is controlled using a control knob on the front; it is set on a step scale that covers a speed range from 0 to 100 %. It is also possible to calibrate the minimum speed using the internal "Min Speed Set" trimmer. When switched on, the instrument supplies the load with the maximum available voltage corresponding to the maximum speed for approx. 15 seconds and then resumes its normal control function according to the setting made. It is intended for use in rooms with normal soiling.Technical data:
