The Hemstedt drain heater CSC1-5.0 in a sleeveless design is a high-quality and reliable solution for keeping condensate and drain pipes frost-free. It was specially developed for use on drain pipes in freezer cabinets as well as refrigeration and deep-freeze rooms and effectively protects them against icing and malfunctions.
The waterproof heating cable is flexible and equipped with durable silicone insulation, which enables operation at temperatures up to +150 °C. This makes the drain heater suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation on pipes. The termination and connection are made using a silicone sleeve, which ensures a secure and durable installation.The electrical connection is made via a one-sided cold connection cable with a length of 1 metre (longer versions on request). The heating cable must not be shortened. With a heated length of 5.0 m and a rated heating output of 250 W at 230 V / 50 Hz, the drain heater ensures even and efficient heat output.
The design complies with protection class II and is equipped with VDE approval and CE labelling. Typical areas of application include mechanical engineering, the plastics and refrigeration industries, evaporation systems and hot plates. Installation must be carried out in accordance with the installation instructions.
