The Roller Air Cooler SV 461 ECS is a powerful and energy-efficient air cooler designed to provide reliable cooling for a wide range of applications. Efficient cooling with an EC fan
The SV 461 ECS is fitted with an EC fan with a power rating of 18 W and achieves an airflow rate of 700 m³/h. The air flow rate can be adjusted to the current cooling load via an external 0–10 V controller. This ensures particularly energy-efficient operation. The air cooler achieves energy efficiency class A+.
The adjustable air outlet vanes enable precise air distribution with a throw of up to 3 m. In multi-fan versions, additional baffle plates ensure optimum airflow through the heat exchanger.
Robust and corrosion-resistant construction
The casing is made as standard from corrosion-resistant aluminium with a scratch-resistant powder coating. The heat exchanger is fitted with tin-plated copper tubes and aluminium fins with a full-surface powder coating, thereby offering reliable corrosion protection. The air cooler is also available with a stainless steel casing as an option.
The sturdy construction with 0.3 mm thick fins facilitates cleaning and maintenance work. The aligned tube spacing and uniform fin spacing allow for easy cleaning of the heat exchanger.
Easy maintenance and practical features
To ensure good accessibility, the air cooler features generous side clearances and side covers that are easy to remove. The drip tray can be fully folded down and removed for cleaning and servicing. Flat mounting rails made of stainless CrNi steel with slotted holes allow for convenient installation.
The standard specification also includes an air conditioning heater for dehumidification operation. The downstream electric heating elements and the fans are already wired to the junction box. A humidification unit with a spray nozzle and water distribution system is available as an option for simplified humidification requirements. MS heating elements in block form can be retrofitted if required for room temperatures above 0 °C.

The SV 461 ECS trolley is designed for a wide range of refrigerants. These include, amongst others, R22, R134a, R404A, R407A, R407C, R407F, R410A, R417A, R448A, R449A, R450A, R452A, R507A, R513A and R515B.
A defrost safety thermostat is available as an option to ensure additional operational reliability. This stops the electric defrost cycle in the event of a malfunction in the defrost control system, thereby preventing the system from overheating unnecessarily.
