Decarbo has made it its business to develop heat pumps that are inexpensive, uncomplicated to install and environmentally friendly. The monobloc models of our Decarbo ECO series are designed with a focus on energy efficiency, reliability and user-friendly installation & operation. The use of R290 low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant and the modulating inverter compressor combine powerful heating with sustainable aspects.
The Decarbo ECO series includes four modulating monobloc heat pumps with maximum heating capacities from 8.3 to 22 kW. Thanks to built-in 3-way valves, the units can operate in different modes all year round:

The Decarbo ECO series is SG-Ready (Smart Grid Ready) and BAFA-listed, which enables a subsidy of up to 40% of the total costs.
Easy installation
The Decarbo ECO series consists of compact monobloc heat pumps in which the indoor and outdoor units are combined in one module. The installation of the outdoor unit is limited to the water and electricity connections. No refrigerant pipes need to be laid, as the entire refrigeration circuit and all water-side components such as the plate heat exchanger and water pump are already integrated in the outdoor unit.
Energy-efficient & reliable heat supply
The higher the energy efficiency class, the lower the energy consumption. The Decarbo R290 monobloc inverter heat pumps score with excellent performance and impressive energy efficiency. Their SCOP is up to a remarkable 5.29, and they achieve energy efficiency class A+++ (at 35°C / A++ at 55°C), ensuring efficient operation and maximum energy savings. This is achieved through state-of-the-art inverter technology with stepless adjustment of power consumption to the power currently required.
The Decarbo monobloc heat pumps of the ECO series offer reliable and powerful indoor heating performance. They can even operate at low outdoor temperatures down to -25 °C and maintain the water temperature at a maximum of 75 °C.

Environmentally friendly refrigerant
The environmental friendliness of refrigerants is assessed using the "GWP". The "Global Warming Potential" (GWP) is a unit of measurement that describes how much a defined amount of a certain greenhouse gas contributes to global warming compared to the same amount of carbon dioxide. For example, a GWP of 2100 means that the gas in question contributes 2100 times more to global warming than the same amount of carbon dioxide. Decarbo heat pumps use R290 with a GWP of 3 - many times more environmentally friendly than the conventional refrigerants used by competitors, such as R410a with a GWP of 2100 or R32 with a GWP of 675. This fact not only saves your conscience, but also future-proofs your heat pump - R290 is PFAS-free and, unlike the refrigerants mentioned above, will be available on the market for a long time to come at a reasonable price.
