Leak Lock remains permanently elastic, does not become brittle and can be used even under vibrations, temperature fluctuations and in pressure and vacuum applications. Observe the curing or load-bearing time, which depends on the pipe size, material and ambient temperature. Important notes Leak Lock is not recommended for use with alcohols. Alcohol-based cleaners may be used for pre-cleaning, but must be allowed to evaporate completely before application. For unwanted contamination, a suitable cleaning agent may be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Leak Lock should not be applied indiscriminately to every joint. It is not recommended for use on pre-charged quick-connect refrigeration lines in air-conditioning systems.
