The TwinFresh Solar single-room ventilation systems are decentralised ventilation systems with heat recovery, which are powered by solar energy. The solar energy is generated by a solar module so that no additional power supply is required.

The TwinFresh Solar series ventilation systems offer simple, effective and energy-saving ventilation of individual rooms in residential areas, homes, social and commercial buildings.

TWINFRESH CONSTRUCTION  
  • The ventilation system consists of an adjustable telescopic tube, a fan unit and an external bonnet.
  • Two filters and a ceramic heat accumulator are installed in the inner part of the telescopic tube.

  • Thanks to its modern design, the ventilation grille blends in beautifully with any room design.
  • All TwinFresh and TwinFresh Comfo ventilation systems are equipped with louvre dampers (except for models TwinFresh S-60 and TwinFresh SA-60).

  • The models TwinFresh S1SA1 and SA and TwinFresh Comfo RA1-50SA1-35RA1-35 and RA1-25 are equipped with a decorative front panel, which is lined with an insulating layer for extra sound insulation from the inside.
CERAMIC MEMORY REVERSING EC VENTILATOR
  • The highly efficient ceramic heat accumulator ensures the recovery of heat energy from the extract air to heat the supply air, with heat recovery efficiency of up to 90%.
  • The unique regenerative heat accumulator has a cellular structure with a larger surface area and a high level of efficiency.
  • The heat storage tank is characterised by its excellent heat transfer properties and good heat storage capacity.
  • The ceramic heat accumulator has a special antibacterial treatment to prevent bacteria from multiplying.The antibacterial properties of the coating are designed to last for 10 years.
  • The inside of the ceramic thermal store is lined with a heat-insulating material that also acts as a sealant.
  • A reversing axial fan with EC motor is used for ventilation and extraction.
  • Thanks to EC technology, the fan is characterised by low energy consumption.
  • The motors are supplied with an extra-low voltage of 12 V.
  • The motor is equipped with integrated overheating protection and ball bearings for a long service life.
MONTAGE PLATE  
  • The TwinFresh Comfo models include a mounting plate that facilitates maintenance of the fans, filters and heat accumulator.
  • The fan unit is fixed to the mounting plate with magnets and special interfaces.The inner part of the ventilation system can be accessed after removing the fan unit; no special tools are required.
  • The interfaces on the mounting plate allow several ventilation units to be integrated into one ventilation system and enable their synchronised operation.
  • The TwinFresh Comfo RA1-25 model does not have an interface and these units cannot be integrated into a ventilation network.
QUADRATIC AIR CHANNEL
  • The square air ducts of the TwinFresh models are made of polymer-coated metal and are lined with an insulating fabric.
  • The round ventilation pipes are made of PVC plastic.
  • The telescopic length is adjustable depending on the wall thickness, making installation quick and easy.
OUTER HOOD  
  • Thanks to the special design of the external bonnet, the exhaust air flow and the condensate that forms inside the external bonnet are discharged from the building wall.
  • In addition, the outer bonnet prevents water and foreign bodies from directly entering the ventilation system.
  • The inner part of the outer bonnet is lined with an insulating layer for sound insulation and to prevent condensation from forming in the outer bonnet.
AIR FILTER  
  • The supply and exhaust air flows are cleaned by two built-in air filters with the entire filter class G3.
  • The filters clean the supply air from dust and insects and prevent contamination of the ventilation system.
  • The filters have an antibacterial coating.
  • The filters are cleaned with a hoover or water rinsing, which does not remove the antibacterial solution.
The EH outer hood is made of polymer-coated aluminium.

The EH-2 aluminium hood is made of polymer-coated stainless steel. Thanks to the labyrinth structure of the outer bonnet, the air flow changes direction several times, thus protecting the ventilation system against wind penetration into the air duct.

NETWORK CABLE  
  • The TwinFresh Comfo ventilation systems are equipped with a mains cable.
  • The ventilation system is ready for operation and does not require any extra electrical connections.
  • Just insert the plug into the socket and enjoy the fresh air.
  • If the cables need to be flush-mounted in your case and several ventilation systems need to be integrated into one network, you can remove the cable with the plug.
OPERATING LOGIC OF TWINFRESH AIR CONDITIONERS  
  • The ventilation system can operate in reversible mode with energy recovery or only in supply or exhaust air mode without energy recovery.

CYCLE I. The warm exhaust air is extracted from the room via the ceramic heat accumulator. The extract air warms and humidifies the heat accumulator. In doing so, it transfers up to 90% of the heat energy. After some time, the heat accumulator is heated and the ventilation system switches to supply air mode.

CYCLE II The fresh cold outdoor air flows over the heat storage tank and extracts the stored heat and humidity from the heat storage tank until the room temperature is reached. When the heat storage tank is cooled down, the ventilation system switches back to extract air mode. The cycle restarts. The switchover to supply and extract air mode takes place every 70 seconds.

TWINFRESH SOLAR CONTROL AND OPERATING MODE  
  • The system control enables four operating modes:
    1. Ventilation mode (extract or supply air) at the 1st speed.
    2. Ventilation mode (extract or supply air) at the 2nd speed
    3. Reverse operation (energy recovery) at the 1st speed.
    4. Reverse operation (energy recovery) at the 2nd speed.
  • The TwinFresh Solar SA-60 ventilation systems are controlled via the KVS control unit and supplied with power via the solar module.
  • The scope of delivery of the TwinFresh Solar SA-60 Pro ventilation systems includes a power storage unit.
  • During the day, the ventilation system is powered by the solar module, which charges the power storage unit.
  • At night, the lighting system is supplied via the power storage unit.
AN EXAMPLE OF A TWINFRESH-based ventilation system  
  • For a ventilation system based on the TwinFresh ventilation systems, install a ventilation system in each room.
  • Install two or more ventilation systems in larger rooms.
  • The TwinFresh ventilation units can be used individually or can be integrated into a ventilation system.
  • If each ventilation system is operated separately, the operating mode of each individual ventilation system can be set individually.
  • The TwinFresh Comfo models are fully operational and the TwinFresh Standard models still require connection of the control and power supply units.
  • When connecting the ventilation systems, set some ventilation systems to supply air mode and other ventilation systems to extract air mode.
  • For controlled domestic ventilation, we recommend installing the ventilation systems in pairs.
  • In reverse operation with heat and humidity recovery, the TwinFresh ventilation systems change their operating mode from supply air to extract air and vice versa every 70 seconds. In winter, the heat and humidity of the exhaust air is transferred to the heat accumulator and in summer the cold is transferred.
  • The air flows between rooms through door openings and the hallway, creating air circulation in the house.
  • Thanks to the ventilation system with energy recovery based on the TwinFresh ventilation system, operating costs for heating and air conditioning are significantly reduced.
  • To create highly efficient ventilation in your home, we also recommend installing the intelligent VENTS iFan axial fan in the kitchen or bathroom. The exhaust air is then automatically extracted after the humidity or motion sensor has been activated.
