F-gas Regulation: Global warming potential of the Refrigerant

As of 2018, the EU F-Gas Regulation (EU 517/2014) has made massive cuts in the quantities of HFCs available in the EU.

The higher the refrigerant's global warming potential, the more it will come under pressure from HFC downphasing, which can lead to likely price increases and potential bottlenecks. Pure HFOs, CO2, hydrocarbons, ammonia, recovered or recycled HFCs, etc. are not included in downphasing. Recycled and Recovered HFCs - Also with a Global Warming Potential > 2500 can still be used for service until 2030.

Wigam suction and Recycling stations

Our online shop offers highly efficient suction and recycling stations at low prices. Wigam suction devices are compatible with all commercially available refrigerants and are used to extract, recycle and reuse refrigerants. These contain a self-cleaning mode that facilitates a quick change from the refrigerant; a filter system with flow control of the liquid refrigerant, which is very effectively separated from oil and dirt particles up to 0.9 liters (for reuse of refrigerant); an oil-free, maintenance-free compressor for extracting liquid and gaseous refrigerants. Each station is equipped with a filter dryer and a humidity indicator. Due to its compact dimensions and low weight, every device ordered from us is perfectly suited for quick and effective extraction of refrigerants. Highly efficient suction devices are equipped with internal safety pressure limiters. If the pressure exceeds 38.5 bar, it is automatically switched off and the red control lamp switched on. Before starting the compressor, find out the cause of the malfunction, lower the pressure below 25 bar and press the start button. The ordered items will be delivered to you as soon as possible.

New suction and recycling stations: WIGAM EASYREC-1R, EASYREC-2R, EASYREC-HP

The new "high performance" extraction and recycling station is ideal for the extraction and recycling of larger quantities of refrigerants. Wigam Easyrec-HP is suitable for the following refrigerants: CFC, HCFC, HCFC and HFO (including R32, R1234yf). Filter system with automatic flow control of the refrigerant allows oil / contamination / colorants to be separated highly efficiently (for reuse of refrigerant).

VISUAL DIAGNOSTICS: Wigam SPY manifold

Thanks to the completely transparent cylinder body, SPY turns the manifold into an instrument for visual diagnosis of the refrigerant. Executions: SPY Manifold for R410A and SPY Manifold for R22, 134a, 404a, 407C

You can visually check the miscibility of Oil and Refrigerant, the quality of the oil and the possible presence of water and dirt particles. In addition to the information on the quality of the refrigerant, you also have some visual information that is useful when checking the processes (e.g. checking the filling and extraction of azeotropic mixtures in the liquid phase) with the extraction and recycling system EASYREC-R in In combination with SPY it will be possible to "see" the extracted and recycled refrigerant. SPY also allows oil samples to be taken for analysis to understand if treatment is required.
