Schmöle K 7-13 WT coaxial condenser, 14 kW, 1.4 m³/h

Schmöle K 7-13 WT coaxial condenser (coaxial heat exchanger), 14 kW, 1.4 m³/h. Applications: Schmöle coaxial condensers are used in heat pumps, refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, heat recovery systems, climate-controlled cabinets and temperature control units for the cooling and condensation of the refrigerant.

Advantages:
- high condensing capacity due to the use of Trufin finned tubes
– advantageous counter-current flow, resulting in a high outlet temperature of the coolant
– simple installation, making them more cost-effective than shell-and-tube condensers

. Depending on their size, coaxial condensers consist of one or three Trufin S/T finned tubes running within a jacket space. The jacket space is filled with superheated refrigerant vapour. The cooling water flows in counter-current through the inner tube. Condensers with a single inner tube are fitted with T-pieces at the connection ends. They have no brazed joint between the shell space and the tube space and are suitable for domestic hot water heating, provided that the system’s refrigerant charge does not exceed 0.81 kg for R22 (see DIN EN 1717, DIN EN 806-4 1988 Part 4).

The coaxial condensers are tested for leaks on the refrigerant side using nitrogen at an overpressure of 28 bar. In addition, the condensers with three inner tubes are subjected to a helium leak test.
