Decarbo buffer cylinder for heat pumps: Efficient energy supply in various sizes
Decarbo buffer cylinders are the ideal solution for improving the energy efficiency of your heat pump systems. Made from robust carbon steel, they are available in 100, 150 and 200 litre sizes.
Technical details:- Maximum pressure: 10 bar
- Working pressure at the heat exchanger inlet: 3 bar
- Working pressure on the heating circuit side: 6 bar
- PVC textile cover for additional protection
- PPU insulation for heat storage and loss minimisation
- Option to connect multiple heat sources
- Option for use for defrosting the heat pump in winter
Advantages and benefits:
Decarbo buffer tanks offer significant energy savings, extend the service life of the heat pump and reduce overall energy consumption. They equalise the flow rate of heating systems and ensure a constant supply of heating or cooling. A buffer storage volume of 10-15 litres per kilowatt of heat pump capacity is recommended.
